I am continuously amazed by how few articles and books are devoted to the functioning of an organization's Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as an entity. The SLT is often a forgotten asset. A well functioning SLT generates breakthrough ideas, creates innovative new product lines and achieves results that benefit the organization as a whole. My approach focuses on building SLTs that:

  • Are results driven
  • Practice "Contributory Decision Making"
  • Exhibit "stewardship" in making decisions that benefit the organization as a whole
  • Have a bias for action
  • Clearly understand their purpose
